Exhaust stud repair

from $99.95

Harley Exhaust Stud Repair

STOP! Before you grab an EZ-Out, drill, or welder — don’t touch it.

Remove the cylinder head and send it to Shop67.

We will fixture the head in our CNC and precision machine the broken exhaust stud out while preserving the factory threads whenever possible. When we’re finished, you’ll never know there was a broken stud in the head.

Already Tried to Remove It?

We can still help — but the repair just got more expensive.

If you’ve already drilled the stud, broken an EZ-Out or drill bit inside it, or otherwise attempted a repair, additional machining will be required.

Hardened tooling embedded in the broken stud cannot simply be drilled out. We use a specialized carbide end mill and helical-bore machining process to CNC machine through and remove the hardened tooling and broken stud.

Once removed, we inspect the original threads and determine whether they can be saved or if a thread repair is required.

The Best Exhaust Stud Repair Is the One Nobody Touched First

Broken stud? Stop drilling. Pull the head. Send it to Shop67.
